A commitment to education and culture
Benalmádena has two fully equipped public libraries which are highly valued by our residents.
"Biblioteca Pública de Arroyo de la Miel", built in 2002 next to the green lung of the Parque de la Paloma, has more than 20,000 members and houses more than 55,000 volumes, as well as an invaluable collection of documents on the history of Benalmádena. In its facilities, where you can enjoy free Internet connection, literary workshops, conferences and various activities take place, making it a key point in our cultural life, as well as a firm commitment to the education of our young people.
"Biblioteca Pública Manuel Altolaguirre” in Benalmádena Pueblo, which has been open for almost 40 years, has some 9,000 volumes and also offers its users several access points to the Internet.
