Castillo El Bil Bil
Bil Bil Castle is a Moorish-style building, covered in red plaster and decorated with tiles and bas-reliefs from the exquisite Nasrid tradition. The building is surrounded by gardens with several fountains of Moorish inspiration, which gives it a special beauty. The construction dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, specifically to 1927, when the project began as a country villa for a wealthy family of the time. Subsequently, it has passed from one owner to another until 1980, when the Benalmádena Town Hall decided to acquire it as a cultural facility, a role it retains to this day, hosting exhibitions, concerts, conferences, etc. As an anecdote, it is worth mentioning that it is the public building where most civil weddings are celebrated in the whole province of Malaga.
